"We are international workers in transition back to the West. Schloss Mittersill is a beautiful building with great hospitality and reasonable charges for a family time of rest and a little play. If you crave a place that feels like a favorite shoe with heart connected to history then this beats any five star hotel which, although glamorous, all begin to feel the same after a while. There are many places to sit in privacy or with good friends to visit, the food is well prepared and there’s plenty of it, and the history and life that fills each unique room makes the whole atmosphere pleasant and meaningful. Austria is relaxed and the local town is easy to navigate. The local mountains offer many different options for easy recreation or high adventure.
