 We are international workers in transition back to the West. Schloss Mittersill is a beautiful building with great hospitality and reasonable charges for a family time of rest and a little play. If you crave a place that feels like a favorite shoe with heart connected to history then this beats any five star hotel which, although glamorous, all begin to feel the same after a while. There are many places to sit in privacy or with good friends to visit, the food is well prepared and there’s plenty of it, and the history and life that fills each unique room makes the whole atmosphere pleasant and meaningful. Austria is relaxed and the local town is easy to navigate. The local mountains offer many different options for easy recreation or high adventure. What a great combination of nature, history and personal wellness. Thank you for the experience. International workers after a long posting abroad  It's hard for us not to think back one year now, and to our month of sabbatical at the Schloss.
What a vital time of refreshment and spiritual encouragement it was to us and to our family and has made such a difference to us this past 12 months. We simply wanted to write and let you know what a blessing the ministry was and to encourage you in your ongoing vital work. We think of you all often with real thankfulness. We wonder what the weather is like at the moment? We arrived to a fresh fall of snow on the mountains..so unexpected; and the wild flowers... Sabbatical guests  I recently attended the New Year’s Houseparty at the castle. I just wanted to say THANK YOU and let you know what a wonderful time I had during my visit to Austria. The staff was so helpful with all of our daily needs (including helping retrieve my lost luggage!)
